board to let your fur baby in on the fun!
Your sweet fur baby already loves the excitement and company that come with this special day. This barkuterie board
recipe is filled with their favorite treats, fruits, and vegetables that are safe for dogs. Plus, you can include a
few dental sticks to clear up that breath and sneak in some dental care.
Here’s how to make a charcuterie board for dogs:
Barkuterie Board
RECIPE NOTE: One barkuterie board is more than one serving! Please be mindful of your pup’s stomach as you
let them chow down.
A charcuterie board recipe made for our favorite four-legged friends, this is such a simple and easy way to make
your fur baby happy, without compromising their health!
We recommend freely choosing your pup’s favorites to go on the board. However, be sure to check out the list of safe
fruits and vegetables for dogs below before substituting any ingredients:
- Dog treats of your choice
- Half a banana, sliced up
- 1 tbsp of blueberries
- Cucumber, 3-4 slices
- 2 tbsp of diced up carrots
- Dental sticks
- 1 Stick of String Cheese (Mozzarella cheese), cut into bite-sized pieces
- Home-made, pet-friendly cookies
- 1 tbsp of plain nonfat yogurt or peanut butter (without Xylitol)

First, prepare the cookies:
- Heat the oven to 325° F
- Pour pawTree’s baking mix in a bowl with ½ cup water and ¼ cup vegetable oil. Mix until dough forms.
- Form dough into balls (about 1 Tbsp. dough per cookie) and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes. Let cool.
- Drizzle nonfat yogurt or peanut butter over the cookies to finish it off!
Then, assemble the board! Place all ingredients on a wooden board (or whatever you have) and set it out for the pups to enjoy.
Potential Substitutions
The best recipes include ingredients that are already in your fridge. Feel free to change up what’s on the board,
based on what you have and what your pup loves.
